I'm loathe to say publicly just what a brilliant pub this is. We were there mid afternoon and surrounded by mature drinkers enjoying the beer, fire and company.
It felt like a village country pub. A great pub.

The landlady and staff work hard to keep a fantastic pub and the prices are so reasonable. Absolutely fantastic what a gem warm and friendly atmosphere 👌

Fantastic east-end boozer just off brick lane. Eclectic mix of young and older crowd. Very lively and often standing room only on Friday/ Saturday but staff are very friendly and service is prompt

I've been here many times before heading to Brick Lane for a curry. The beer is superb and the pub itself is a lovely little local. Very much worth visiting if you're in London.
